Big Fries explores the tension between the immateriality of data and the violence of matter. Through 3D printing and subsequent deep-frying, symbols of companies operating on digital flows are dragged into an organic dimension, making the algorithm tangible through thermal stress. The fried object is then scanned in high definition and presented as a print on a black background.
